Back from India

We're back and have had a brilliant time. Many thanks to all our supporters who have made the trip possible, it really was the experience of a lifetime. Some of Lisa's photos have now been uploaded to our web album. Click here to go to the pictures.
Once again, thank you very much.

Trek started!

Latest news from the girls is that they have started their trek up to 5,250 metres altitude in the Himalayas and probably won't be in contact for the next two weeks. A mini trek that had been planned to a glacier had to be cancelled, so they went "Zorbing" and paragliding instead. Lisa said the views from the air were astounding!

e-mail home

First report received from Lisa, they have reached the village, in the foothills of the Himalayas, where they are working on the school and have carried building supplies to site. An elephant was sighted while walking to the village, the poor creature then endured giving the girls a ride!
